Bishop Joshua Explains What It Means to Be Chosen by God
There was once an experiment done to prove the power that our words hold. Over a period of time, there were negative words spoken to a plant. On the other hand, positive words were spoken to another plant. Over time the plant that received positive words continued to flourish, while the plant that received negative words slowly died.
This is what happens to many people.
They are plagued with negative words throughout their life, and because of this, they think of themselves as the least. However, this is not how God sees us. For Him, we are chosen to be used. In fact, it is when we feel the lowest that God picks us up and chooses us to do great things.
“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;” I Corinthians 1:27
You’ve always heard negative words. You’ve been referred to as the smallest or the weakest. Perhaps you don’t have the qualifications or financial condition, or even the resources. But God does not look at what you have now, He looks at all He can give to you.
He has chosen you to show His greatness here on earth.
Put aside what you have heard until now and look at what the word of God says about you. Others may have counted you out, but God has chosen you, and He will do something great in your life.
