Volunteers Provide Practical Support, Prayer, and Encouragement to More Than 100 People in Philadelphia

Providing Practical Support

During the outreach, volunteers distributed sandwiches, water, sodas, and snacks. In addition to providing food and refreshments, the volunteers took the time to speak with people, listen to their stories, and offer words of faith and encouragement.

Those who wanted prayer had the opportunity to receive it, and Bibles were also handed out.

For someone facing difficult times, even a simple gesture can make a difference. A meal, a bottle of water, a conversation, or just having someone willing to listen can provide encouragement when it is needed most.

UniSocial volunteers continue to work to support local communities. Through each outreach, they aim not only to meet immediate needs but also to show care, offer encouragement, and remind people that someone is willing to stand by them.
