From October 26–November 1, With Prayer and Spiritual Guidance at Every Location of The Universal Church
There are times when difficulties seem to pile up. Family problems, inner conflicts, financial concerns, and other situations can bring distress and discouragement. In the face of these challenges, many people turn to faith for the strength they need to keep going.
To encourage this spiritual pursuit, The Universal Church is holding its Week of Deliverance & Spiritual Warfare beginning on October 26. Throughout these seven days, bishops, pastors, and assistants will take part in a dedicated effort of prayer and spiritual guidance for those who wish to bring their difficulties before God and strengthen their spiritual lives.
In addition, the initiative invites participants to set aside time to reflect on their lives and seek the presence of God.
Alongside the services, churches will offer spiritual counseling before and after the meetings, according to each location’s schedule.
Those facing problems or seeking direction will have the opportunity to speak with a pastor or an assistant and receive a word of faith grounded in biblical teachings.
The Bible teaches the importance of persevering in faith and prayer in the face of adversity.
In Ephesians 6:11, for example, the apostle Paul instructs Christians to put on the full armor of God so they can stand firm against the devil’s schemes. Based on this teaching, the initiative seeks to remind participants of the importance of spiritual vigilance and communion with God.
In addition, each day of the week will feature a specific purpose, allowing people to attend the meetings and present their needs to God in prayer.
