If you demand perfection from yourself and others, everything will seem wrong. An innocent joke will become a scandal, and you will begin to judge and condemn everything and everyone around you. That is an easy way to abandon faith and destroy yourself. Remember that we should have balance. We are imperfect and live in an imperfect world. When we don’t consider ourselves righteous but strive to walk in God’s presence by obeying the Word, we become perfect in His eyes & we have balance. Justice belongs to Him and is in Him, not in us.

“Do not be overly righteous, nor be overly wise; why should you destroy yourself?” (Ecclesiastes 7:16)
