Good Gifts

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!’ (Luke 11:13)

 
Human beings want to enjoy their goodness knowing that they will receive something in return; for example, the love of their child and the consideration of the people around them. But God is good regardless of whether a person is good or bad, for it is in His nature to give without expecting anything in return.

He loved the world so much that He gave His Son to be the Savior of all sinners, even though it was a high price to see Him sacrificed on the cross. Furthermore, He left us His Word of true life, offered to those who believe in His offering; we can choose life in His Kingdom or eternal death far from Him.
