The word “Purge” is defined as intense cleansing, to rid yourself of unwanted quality, condition, or feeling.

“A boy, a child, he had epilepsy he used to fall everywhere and his father brought him to Jesus the scripture says that. “Jesus rebuked the demon” he was sick. He had what we call a spiritual disease. It says, ‘Jesus rebuked the demon and he came out of him… the child was killed from that very hour’ (Matthew 17:18). The child was killed because Jesus rebuked the demon, Jesus did a spiritual purging. The demon that was there was causing the disease. Anybody can get sick because we are human beings, however this boy had a spiritual disease. Doctors and medications could not help him,” explained Bishop Joshua on the Showdown of Faith program.
