Women’s Shelter Event in Washington, D.C.

In a moving event that showcased compassion and community spirit, Unisocial, a group from The Universal Church, recently organized a remarkable gathering at a women’s shelter event in Washington, DC. The event took place on Saturday, July 29th, 2023. It aimed to support the ladies residing in the shelter. 

The attendees were greeted with open arms as Unisocial volunteers extended their efforts to create an atmosphere of warmth and belonging. Everyone who desired a prayer received one. Plus, One-on-one spiritual counseling was provided to the attendees as well. 

Unisocial recognized the significance of maintaining personal hygiene and provided much-needed essentials to the women, empowering them to care for themselves. There were also warm meals for all the attendees. 

The impact of the Women’s Shelter Event in Washington, DC extended beyond the event itself. These women were reminded that they are not alone in their struggles.
