Unisocial Brings Hope and Nourishment to Those in Need
On August 17th, 2024, Unisocial volunteers gathered to distribute food and offer spiritual counseling to those in need in Nashville, Tennesse.
Nashville, widely known as the “Country Music Capital of the World,” is the birthplace of country music and home to a rich blend of genres, including bluegrass, rock, and R&B.
Food insecurity remains a significant challenge in Nashville, driven by the rising cost of food. According to the Vanderbilt Child Health Poll, over 40% of Tennessee families have reported experiencing food insecurity. As the situation worsens, more families are seeking additional support to secure adequate nutrition.
On August 17th, Unisocial‘s four dedicated volunteers gathered at 12 PM to distribute food and offer spiritual counseling to those in need. Approximately 50 people attended the event.
Pastor Carlos shared a powerful message based on Matthew 4:4,
It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’
He emphasized that while physical nourishment is essential, it is the Word of God that truly sustains and guides us through life’s challenges. After imparting a message of faith, Pastor Carlos prayed for the attendees, blessed the food, and distributed it to those present.
Melissa expressed her gratitude, saying, “I’m very happy to be here with Unisocial today. I received hope, food, and many blessings. I wish you all many blessings to come. Thank you!”
Valerie also shared her experience: “I just ran into the kind people from Unisocial who were helping with food and everything you need. I want to bless everyone and thank Unisocial for helping us out.”
