An Opportunity for Those Who Desire a New Beginning With God
Many who were once close to God and active in the church now find themselves feeling distant and unsure of how to return—or whether they even can.
That’s why The Universal Church is preparing for a special day called “The Sunday of Reconciliation,” which will take place on November 16th at 10 AM.
The purpose of this day is simple: to reach out to those who have wandered away from their relationship with God and help them find their way back home.
The biblical story of Abraham reveals this spirit of reconciliation. When he set out to rescue his relative Lot, who had gone astray in the city of Sodom, Abraham demonstrated compassion and persistence—refusing to give up on those he cared about, even when they had lost their way.
This initiative is not about blame or criticism; it’s about care, understanding, and the belief that anyone can make a fresh start.
While not everyone who has drifted away from God’s Word may be ready to return—some may still be enjoying the life they’ve chosen—this day is an invitation to come home for those who recognize that something is missing.
You may have never physically left the church, yet your heart might feel distant from God. Perhaps you’ve convinced yourself that prayer no longer works or that God has stopped listening.
Maybe something painful happened, and you struggle to understand why He allowed it. You might even feel trapped in a cycle of mistakes, thinking that seeking to draw near to the Lord Jesus would make no difference.
But if you’re reading this now, it is not by coincidence—it is a timely opportunity to change direction.
The Bible says in Ezekiel 18:22:
None of the transgressions which he has committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he has done, he shall live.
In other words, it’s not too late to begin again. The Sunday of Reconciliation offers each of us another chance—an opportunity to find peace, restore hope, and renew our relationship with God.
On Sunday, November 16th, at 10 AM, The Universal Church will open its doors to all who are ready to take that step. Whether you’ve been away for months or years, you are warmly invited to return—back to faith, back to hope, and back to God.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of religious beliefs or background. Come as you are. For more information, please call 1-888-332-4141 or text 1-888-312-4141.
If you live in a city without one of our locations or cannot commute due to health reasons, we invite you to join our Virtual Church via Zoom and phone conference.
