An Event for Those Facing Hopelessness and Deep Emotional Pain

Life has not only been grey but also turbulent for Matilda since her childhood, facing what no child should face: abuse.

Unable to Fill the Emptiness

Without seeing a way out and without support, she dived deep into toxic habits she used to cope with the pain that just kept growing and overwhelming her day by day.

Drinking, partying, Alcohol, and relationships—anything she could do to help ease the pain.

Not finding hope, she attempted suicide several times.

Feeling Welcomed

Walking into The Universal Church, Matilda felt welcomed and understood, something she had not experienced since her childhood.

What seemed impossible became possible; step by step, she experienced healing and transformation through her faith.

Someone who saw life as a heavy burden now has life to give.
