The volunteers of The Night Angels in Houston, TX, make their way to “Tent City,” a sizable homeless encampment just a few blocks from Minute Maid Park. They are located just below US-59.
The Night Angels in Houston encountered various tents where people without homes reside. Many people without housing full of gratitude and joy received food, water, clothes, and, most importantly, spiritual assistance. The Pastor’s and volunteers of the Night Angles prayed over everyone who accepted. Pastor Edwin gave a word of faith, and spiritual counseling was available for all who wanted it.
“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh?” (Isaiah 58:6-7)
