We live in a world constantly inundated with information, social media, and distractions that draw us away from God’s presence. This initiative provides an opportunity for those who wish to reorganize their inner selves, strengthen their faith, and focus their thoughts on what truly edifies.
Participants are invited to refrain from secular content, including entertainment, social media, and excessive news.
Daily engagement will be limited to content that builds faith, such as attending daily Chain of Prayer meetings at The Universal Church, reading and meditating on the Bible, praying more, having a sincere connection with God, and watching Christian content from ULFN.
In biblical times, the prophet Daniel chose to consecrate himself amid Babylon and remained faithful to God, receiving divine answers.
Similarly, the Fast of Daniel encourages each participant to dedicate this time to spiritual self-evaluation to align one’s mind, decisions and life to God’s will, nurturing one’s relationship with God, and prioritizing seeking the Holy Spirit above people and things.
Mount Zion symbolizes the goal of this spiritual journey: a life in communion with God and inner renewal.
To participate, it is essential to start preparing now. Organize your routine and decide to prioritize your spiritual life. Moreover, this fasting extends beyond abstaining from secular entertainment and information; it also involves practicing more prayer, self-reflection, and an ongoing seeking of God’s Presence through obedience to His Word, surrender and trust.
If you want spiritual renewal, a strengthening of faith, or a fresh start with God, the Fast of Daniel presents a valuable opportunity.
In addition to the Sunday service at 10 AM, there are special meetings every Wednesday at 10 AM, 4 PM, and 7 PM. These meetings are designed to strengthen our spiritual lives and seek the Holy Spirit.
