Sweet and Bitter

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

A satisfied soul loathes the honeycomb, but to a hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet. (Proverbs 27:7)

 
People who do not value what God has given them do not know how to recognize Him in their ways; therefore, they complain about everything and are never satisfied.

However, the simple, poor, and those who hunger for righteousness rejoice in the small things they acquire. And when they have the opportunity to witness God’s deeds, they receive them with joy and with much fear in their hearts.
