Read and Meditate on Today’s Message
Walk prudently when you go to the house of God; and draw near to hear rather than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil. (Ecclesiastes 5:1)
The purpose of going to the House of God is to honor Him, seek Him, listen to His voice, and receive His direction for life, adoring Him and giving offerings to Him with joy.
If our going is merely to perform a sacrifice out of tradition, that does not please Him, and He does not accept that offering.
Use intelligent faith. Analyze your intentions and see whether you are fulfilling a ritual or demonstrating your devotion to your Lord and King.
