Novena of the Challenge of the Cross

This Tuesday at 10 AM, 4 PM, and 7 PM

Novena of the Challenge of the Cross

The Word of God is filled with promises, ranging from peace and prosperity to health and deliverance. For some, these promises may not hold much significance because they do not fully believe in the truth of God’s Word. Others may believe but have never personally experienced these promises coming to life.

An Invitation to Try God’s Word

Regardless of your situation, God invites everyone to try His Word. As stated in Malachi 3:10:

‘(…) And try Me now in this,’ Says the LORD of hosts, ‘If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.’

Unless you obey, trust, and try His Word, how will you know if it works? This is the essence of the Novena of the Challenge of the Cross—a special nine-week purpose for those who desire to see God’s promises fulfilled in their lives.

Why the Cross?

But why focus on the cross? The Bible explains in Colossians 2:14–15:

Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

On the cross, the Lord Jesus defeated every power of darkness, every curse, and every accusation that stood against humanity. His sacrifice was not only for the forgiveness of sins but also to restore what was lost—peace, strength, good health, and direct access to God’s promises. Those who come to the cross can claim these same victories in their own lives.
