But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, ‘Lord, who has believed our report?’ So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:16-17)

 
How many people, nowadays, desire to hear the Word of God? Living in a world full of news, inventions, and entertainment, even while suffering, many still love this world. However, God chooses those who seek Him and strive to please Him, doing His will, so that they can know Him. His Word has the power to transform the most vile sinner and, out of love and mercy, turn them into His child and heir—through the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus.
