Fear of God

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28)

 
Man fears many things in this world (violence, disease, death, the future, poverty, and people’s opinions), but the Creator of all things, who has the power and authority to rebuke and bless, is disregarded. People have no fear of God and even blame Him for the evil that befalls them. However, God patiently awaits the day when they will hear His voice and heed Him, repentant, asking for forgiveness.
