Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by. (Psalm 57:1)
When passing through afflictions, the righteous takes shelter in the shadow of the wings of the Most High. He gives them this right because they trust in His Word, His greatness, and His mercy, and also because they seek and serve Him wholeheartedly and with all their understanding, in intelligent faith.
