The Kingdom of God and Inner Transformation

This Wednesday at 7 PM

The Kingdom of God and Inner Transformation

The Kingdom of God is not confined to a physical location or merely attending church; it involves a total surrender that occurs from the inside out. Many people remain stagnant, even while participating in religious settings, because they are still governed by the same fears and mistakes from their past.

Why This Matters

True transformation requires more than just theoretical belief. According to Bishop Macedo, believing in Jesus entails a practical commitment, much like a marriage that is entered into freely and willingly.

The Contradiction

It is impossible to receive the Spirit of Truth while clinging to falsehood as if it were a “lover.”

The Government Within

If the Kingdom begins within, then those who are part of it must have the King residing within them.

The Commitment of Faith

God’s work involves believing in the One He sent, which necessitates that one disciplines their life according to His Word. Bishop Macedo states, “Belief in God involves a commitment, akin to a marriage, when a person surrenders to the Lord Jesus Christ. When you obey His Word, you are obeying Jesus.”

Next Step: Fast of Daniel

To seek this revival, The Universal Church will commence the Fast of Daniel this Sunday. This will be a 21-day period of absolute consecration, culminating on May 24th, Pentecost Sunday.

During this time, participants will have the opportunity to anoint their heads each morning with consecrated oil, focusing on the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Bishop Renato highlights this as a significant spiritual movement: “We will be gathered in the Upper Room in Jerusalem, ministering from the very place where the Holy Spirit first descended (Acts 2), praying for all who believe in the Father’s promise.”
