Contending With God

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

Shall the one who contends with the Almighty correct Him? He who rebukes God, let him answer it. (Job 40:2)

 
Human beings do not fully understand justice, yet they live crying out for it; they do not know God and His Word, which reveal the knowledge of good and evil. Because of their own choices and the desires of their heart, they encounter evil.

They have no reason to blame God, nor to accuse Him of failing in His protection; even so, they consider Him unjust. For not using their reasoning, they suffer greatly and even envy those who live by intelligent faith.
