And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?’ (Luke 18:7-8)
The Lord Jesus shared the parable of a widow who had suffered injustice, and she would cry out before an unrighteous judge daily until he judged her case. However, God is not like human beings; He is truth and righteousness, He is Justice, and He abhors injustice. So the Lord Jesus declares that God will judge the cause of His people who cry out to Him in faith.
What has been the injustice that has plagued your life?
• Unfair dismissal
• Unjust accusations and losses
• Recurring or critical illnesses
• Losing your children to drugs
• Losing your marriage to unfaithfulness
• Financial humiliation
• Abuse and rejection
• Past traumas that have shaped your future
• And the most profound injustice of all: Living without the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of you. The Holy Spirit is the greatest promise of the Lord Jesus!
God sees you, and He sees the injustices in your life. He knows what you have been going through and invites you to present your case before Him.
‘Present your case,’ says the LORD. ‘Bring forth your strong reasons,’ says the King of Jacob. (Isaiah 41:21)
God is not like the judges of this world—human, faulty, biased, or double-minded. No! He has no limitations to His power, and He wants to bring His Justice to your life.
You might not have access to a worldly judge, but you have direct access to the Heavenly Father, the Just Judge. He will answer your request! However, we must put our faith into practice and bring our cases to His Altar.
“The strong reason is to live by faith. ‘The righteous shall live by faith.’ (Romans 1:17) You will see the hands of the righteous God working in your life. Use your faith, take your Bible, and let us cry out day and night. Justice will be served.” (Bishop Bira Joshua)
Many seek the ruler’s favor, But justice for man comes from the LORD. (Proverbs 29:26)
