You Will Receive the Power of the Spirit, and You Will Be Witnesses That I Am Alive

You Will Receive the Power of the Spirit, and You Will Be Witnesses That I Am Alive

The purpose of the Holy Spirit is not to lead a person to speak in tongues. In the Sacred Text, in Acts 1:8, it is described:

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

So when the Holy Spirit comes upon us, it is to make us witnesses of Jesus, and we can only witness for Him through His Spirit. It is through the Spirit that we are convicted of the Word and can proclaim it.

Therefore, having the Holy Spirit, when you speak of your testimony and life, of how it was before and the changes that have occurred, the Spirit of God will use it to convince other people and to convert them as well.

Therefore, use your faith intelligently and wisely to demonstrate the character of God and Truth, for you have freed yourself from lies and stopped “drinking the water of this world,” since you now have the water of life.

Occupy your mind with obeying the Lord Jesus and sharing what you have received with others. After all, when you speak of God, it is a sign that the Holy Spirit is within you.

And if you don’t have Him yet, ask for Him, so that you can be His witness. So that you may know that, from the past until today, He is the same who delivers, heals, and changes the lives of those who believe.
