A Day for God to Turn Evil Into Good and Bring a Happy Journey to Those Who Seek Him
There is a great deal of mysticism surrounding Friday the 13th; many people consider it an “unlucky day.” Some say this popular tradition originated in the United States. In contrast, others believe it came from Europe. Regardless of its origin, many individuals fear and even avoid making important decisions on this date.
The truth is that this is just another day on the calendar. However, those who believe something negative will happen often end up attracting negativity. The problems or incidents that arise on this date can usually be linked to a lack of faith; superstition breeds fear, and where there is fear, there is doubt—a reflection of diminished faith.
For those having divine protection, there is no reason to fear any evil. God is faithful to His promises and will not allow anything harmful to happen to those who seek Him simply because it’s Friday the 13th. Therefore, it is crucial to be under God’s Protection to ensure that evil does not have access to your life.
The 13th day of the month also holds significant importance in the Bible. Chapter 8 of the Book of Esther notes that “in the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same,” a decree was made to annihilate God’s people. All hope seemed lost until Queen Esther called for a fast and interceded on behalf of the people before the king. As a result, the outcome was the opposite of what their enemies had intended: rather than facing death, God’s people were honored. In other words, the evil decree was turned into a blessing.
Today, many people still face negative decrees that threaten their lives. However, as demonstrated in Esther’s story, God has the power to turn evil into good. This Friday—the last Friday 13 of the year—we will be fasting for those who may have received an evil decree. We will pray that any evil declared against your life will be turned into good, and we will determine God’s protection over you.
On the Showdown of Faith TV Program, Bishop Joshua shared a message and invite for this special event for spiritual deliverance, “Friday 13th will be our day for deliverance. You are going to be delivered and be free from all curses. The Lord Jesus said in His words:
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. (John 14:27)
Do not be afraid because the Lord is with you to free you from all kinds of evil. This Friday 13th, we will help people who have spiritual problems. Do you feel like you are under spiritual attacks, cannot sleep well, cannot function well? Perhaps you have been to witch doctors, done sage and cards to solve a problem. Maria (testimony below) tried to use all this stuff to deal with her depression. However, her deliverance only came when the evil spirit left her life. This is what we are going to do this Friday 13th.”
