How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!’ (Isaiah 52:7)
John the Baptist was the first to have beautiful feet for preaching repentance. Like him, men from that time to this day are special to God, for they proclaim the good news of salvation to all those lost in sin.
