Weighed on a Scale

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

If I have walked with falsehood,
Or if my foot has hastened to deceit,
Let me be weighed on honest scales,
That God may know my integrity. (Job 31:5-6)

Job constantly weighed his soul for fear of God. He watched his heart so as not to commit injustice against God and against his neighbor. He hated falsehood and deceit; therefore, he is an example for us today to act in the same way, examining our hearts, to be sincere and humble in the fear of the Lord.
