Bringing Families Together Through Tradition and Engagement
Unisocial and Youth Power Group (YPG) joined forces to host a family bonding event with Texas BBQ before the start of the school year on August 11th, 2024. Children, teens and families received prayers for unity and protection.
Houston, Texas, is renowned for many things, from being the fourth-largest city in the United States to its rich diversity, thriving industries, and vibrant culture. One of Houston’s most notable qualities is its strong tradition of community engagement.
On August 11th, The Universal Church brought together 30 dedicated volunteers to host a special event aimed at fostering quality family time. Held at noon, the event welcomed 200 people (parents and children) and featured a prayer service, a Texas BBQ, and a great opportunity for families to bond before the start of the school year.
Pastor Edwin from The Universal Church in Houston shared his statement on the event, “This was a truly impactful experience, offering parents and their children a chance to come together for food and fun before the busy school season. The day was filled with smiles and meaningful family connections.”
