On December 21st, 2024, Unisocial and YPG hosted a holiday event at 11 AM to support those in need. Fifteen dedicated volunteers prepared and served a hot meal featuring ham, macaroni pie, potato salad, rice, collard greens, and chicken. Over 100 attendees enjoyed the meal and received words of encouragement and blessings during the event.
“I’m glad to be here and help those who are in need. It is a joyful day.”—Kesha S.
“When we do for them, for sure God does for us.”—Patricia W.
Pastor Williams shared a heartfelt message during the event, “As we come closer to the holiday season, many people don’t have much to eat or provide for their families. We came together to bring joy to those who feel sadness because they cannot afford a proper meal for their kids.”
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you. (Luke 6:38)
