Crossing Walls and Barriers to Reach All, Anywhere
Many also felt hopeless and desperate, and needed to come to the Altar of the church and have people of God who love them listen to them and provide companionship and comfort. Many were isolated and felt very lonely.
Seeing this situation unfold, The Universal Church in the USA started the Virtual Church with four weekly services and pastors who pray for, counsel, and visit those requesting a home visit.
The Virtual Church began at the start of 2021 and has not stopped ever since. Today, via Zoom video conference, it unites over 300 people from all corners of the USA, Canada, and the Caribbean.
Virtual Church congregants are people who desire to build a closer relationship with God and fellowship with other believers. However, many have limited transportation to the nearest location of The Universal Church or health reasons that prevent them from commuting to the church and attending services in person.
Registration for the Virtual Church is free of charge, and registered congregants receive:
• the Lord’s Supper
• correspondence from Bishop Bira Joshua
• ongoing phone calls from assigned pastors
The main Virtual Church service is on Saturdays at 8 AM CT / 9 AM ET from Brooklyn, NY, with Bishop Bira Joshua. In this service, congregants have the option of opening their cameras and interacting with the bishop and fellow congregants during the service.
Alongside Bishop Edson, Pastor Diego, and a team of servants of God filled with the Holy Spirit, Bishop Bira Joshua conducts several prayers for:
• health
• family
• finances
• spiritual deliverance
• healing of the soul
…For I am the LORD who heals you. (Exodus 15:26)
Every Saturday, testimonies are shared from among the Virtual Church congregants who experience miracles and life changes by using their faith in the Word of God.
The second half of the Virtual Church is entirely dedicated to:
• meditating on the Word of God
• prayers of repentance and salvation
• seeking the Holy Spirit
Congregants are invited to put all aside and focus entirely on the Word of God, learning how to nurture a sincere and deep relationship with the Almighty.
Are you unable to commute to The Universal Church due to distance or lack of transportation?
Or perhaps due to health restrictions, you have been homebound and unable to attend a physical church.
Maybe you can commute, but because of bad experiences in the past, you lost trust in church and fellowship. Although you prefer to stay apart from any church service, you still feel the desire to seek the Lord together with other believers. Yet, you may be fearful of being hurt again.
TUC Virtual Church is for you. Anyone can participate—no questions asked. Wherever you are, we invite you to connect with us and witness the results of a sacred and powerful Christian practice since the time of the early church, from the time of the disciples:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another… (Hebrews 10:25)
Saturdays at 8 AM CT / 9 AM ET via Zoom conference or phone call. Everyone is welcome, regardless of religious beliefs or background.
