There is also a youth center, three rooms dedicated to the Children’s Biblical Center (CBC), and parking for the convenience of visitors.

In a video shared on social media, Bishop Renato Cardoso described the inauguration as a moment of celebration and spiritual growth. He highlighted the joy and excitement of a group of church congregants, who sang joyful songs during the event.

“Our Tower of Faith! A group of African church congregants singing with joy. The Tower of Faith is the newest Universal Church in Israel. If you come to visit, you are welcome to see it. If you have relatives in the area, let them know they will be warmly welcomed by our team. May God bless your life. This is the Kingdom of God expanding!”  commented the bishop.

Spiritual Refuge in Times of War

At a time of heightened tension due to war, the Tower of Faith has been described as a “high refuge” for those facing despair. The church offers solace, spiritual guidance, and a welcoming community for all seeking relief and hope.

Bishop Macedo named the temple the Tower of Faith, inspired by Proverbs 18:10, “The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.”

There are currently six pastors of The Universal Church working in the country. It keeps its doors open to serve the population.

A Word of Faith During the Inauguration

In addition to Bishop Edir Macedo, other bishops participated in the inauguration, including Bishops Bira Joshua from the USA, Renato Cardoso, Júlio Freitas, Domingos Siqueira, Marcelo Pires, Clodomir Santos, Franklin Sanches, Randal Brito and Honorilton Gonçalves.

Bishop Macedo highlighted the biblical passage from the book of Isaiah 57:15, emphasizing the power of God to dwell with the brokenhearted and bring restoration.

For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: ‘I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

The Tower of Faith will be open daily, offering meetings at various times: 8 AM, 10 AM, 4 PM, and 7:30 PM. All are welcome to attend and find support and spiritual renewal in the church.

Go Into All the World

After he visited Israel, Bishop Renato Cardoso commented during the Intelligence and Faith TV Program, “Even during times of war—the ceasefire took effect yesterday (January 19th)—we visited many places and brought many things to share. One of the most remarkable events was the inauguration of The Universal Church’s national headquarters in Tel Aviv. In fact, four churches were inaugurated. The Tower of Faith has four churches in the same building—because Israel is a place of many nations. At the inaugural meeting, more than 20 countries were represented by people who work and live in Tel Aviv. And now, they make this place the Father’s House.”

The bishop added, “We have been following the development of the work in Israel all these years, and many have thought us crazy for opening a church there. But we do this in obedience to the Lord Jesus. He said, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature’ (Mark 16:15). The lesson we have learned, despite all these years of hardship, is that God honors perseverance.”
