To Trust in Riches

He who earnestly seeks good finds favor,
But trouble will come to him who seeks evil.
He who trusts in his riches will fall,
But the righteous will flourish like foliage. (Proverbs 11:27-28)

The person who begins to practice goodness early will reap good fruits and benefit from it. On the other hand, a person who seeks evil will reap pain and suffering and, if they do not repent, will remain in darkness for all eternity.

Wealth cannot be your safe haven because, even with it, complete satisfaction will not be achieved. However, the righteous, who depend on the Lord, will never be left helpless because their trust is in Him, and their life will flourish like a verdant garden of peace.
