The Universal Church in Spain Delivers Humanitarian Aid to Over 5,000 Flood Victims

The Universal Church in Spain organized relief efforts for flood victims following the torrential rains at the end of October, a tragedy referred to as the “Flood of the Century.”

Despite difficult access, volunteers in the country have reached the affected locations with the help of the National Police and Municipal Police, who are clearing the way for convoys leaving the church with donations. In this way, authorities have escorted cars and trucks from The Universal Church, allowing donations to reach those affected.

Community Response to Crisis

• All church locations in the country have collected essential products, including non-perishable food, water, clothing, and other materials on demand.

• Volunteers, pastors, and community groups are taking donations to the most affected areas.

• Four hundred volunteers across the country are committed to this humanitarian aid.

• Of these, more than 100 volunteers are working directly in the affected areas.

• As of November 4th, a total of 81 tons of food, 70,000 liters of water, 6,000 pieces of clothing, and 4,200 blankets have been collected.
