The Praise of Men

For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. Then Jesus cried out and said, ‘He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. (John 12:43-44)

People give great value and attention to the success of men, who have nothing to add to their lives. They applaud them and want to imitate them in everything. However, they ignore God, who has so much to give them. They do not believe in the Son of God; consequently, they do not believe in God, who deeply loved them, sacrificing Himself for them.

Those, however, who believe in Jesus’ sacrifice for their sins are saved and have God as their Father, who awaits them in His Secret Refuge.
