The Malicious Tongue

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. (James 3:6)

 
The tongue that did not confess Jesus as Lord and Savior acts as a poison that contaminates the entire body, soul, and spirit, leading the person to live hell already here on earth and, probably, for all eternity.

This person needs to exchange the fiery tongue for the rivers that pour forth living water from the Word of God, and surrender to the only One who can transform them, making them a new creature and a child of God.
