However, in biblical times, the firstborn was the son who would succeed the father—the patriarch and leader of the family. Therefore, the firstborn bore that responsibility.
to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all… (Hebrews 12:23)
How can the children of God be firstborn? What does this mean for you spiritually? If God has designated us as firstborn, then it must have significant implications.
