“The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.” (Psalm 9:9)
Thanksgiving to the Lord is not only a tradition, a celebration, or a moment to spend with family and friends, but above all, it is an act of faith. God invites us all, regardless of our past, background, or beliefs, to seek refuge in Him in times of trouble.
“For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.” (Psalm 9:10)
On Thanksgiving Day, we will seek refuge in God, place our life, worries, and family under His care, and have plenty of reasons to be thankful. He will not forsake those who seek Him.
Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, at 10 am at The Universal Church near you. If possible, and this is optional, bring bread to be blessed and shared with your family.
All are welcome regardless of religious beliefs or background.
