He who sows iniquity will reap sorrow,
And the rod of his anger will fail.He who has a generous eye will be blessed,
For he gives of his bread to the poor. (Proverbs 22:8-9)
Humans who live in evil practices have their minds dominated by anger and, therefore, have no peace. An eternal curse will fall upon them.
But good people—who like to give themselves on behalf of the poor, those suffering, and the needy—will be blessed.
