On August 28th, 2024, at 10 Am, 12 Volunteers of the Soul Winners Group United to Provide Support to the Community
Silver Spring, Maryland, is celebrated for its vibrant culture, artistic murals, and welcoming community spaces. It is known for its diversity and affordability and was named the #1 Best Place to Live for Families by Fortune Magazine in 2024. However, Maryland continues to grapple with homelessness. According to a 2024 report by the Maryland Office of Justice Programs, more than 30,000 people experience homelessness each year.
On August 28th, 2024, at 10 AM, a team of 12 Soul Winners volunteers gathered to provide support to the community. They distributed over 80 cups of hot soup and provided much-needed clothing, particularly warm ones, in preparation for the upcoming winter season. Over 80 individuals were helped during the event.
Pastor Eduardo shared, “At this event, we distributed hot soup and warm clothes to prepare for the winter. We also shared a Word of Faith, encouraging people to return to the Fold, and we offered prayers for all those present.”
But when he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired laborers have more than enough bread, but I am dying here from hunger! (Luke 15:17)
