Solid Food

For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. (Hebrews 5:13-14)

New converts know little of the Lord’s Commandments, as they are adapting to their new life with God. However, those who continually feed on the divine promises develop a good and malleable character. These know how to discern what pleases the Lord and, based on His Word, distinguish good from evil.
