Sunday at 10 AM—The Day of the Encounter with Peace
However, true peace does exist. It’s not the kind of peace that comes and goes depending on circumstances, or the temporary relief that the world offers. This peace is different—it comes from above. As the Lord Jesus Himself said:
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27)
We all face problems, but the kind of peace that transforms a person from within can only be found in God. It’s the same peace that Jesus demonstrated in the middle of a storm, when He was on a boat with His disciples. While everyone around Him panicked, Jesus slept calmly (Mark 4:35–41). That’s the peace He offers.
This Sunday, September 7 at 10 AM, The Universal Church will be holding The Day of the Encounter with Peace. It’s a special opportunity to experience this peace for yourself—the peace that the Lord Jesus, the Prince of Peace, gives to those who seek Him.
