Repentance

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, (2 Timothy 2:24-25)

God’s servants do not get into contentions. On the contrary, they act with gentleness and are able to teach the truth, even to those who resist God’s Word. They often suffer persecution for revealing to the unwary the need for repentance. But many do not see themselves as sinners, and this makes it difficult for them to understand the salvation offered by Jesus.

Whoever believes will be saved.
