Remission of Sins

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

Then Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’ (Acts 2:38)

 
The Word was spoken so that all might repent of their sins and, confessing them, could be baptized in the Name of Jesus. With His sacrifice, Jesus gave them access to the Father so that they would be forgiven, born of Him, receive the Holy Spirit, and become His brothers and sisters.
