Rejecting Goodness

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

For the wicked boasts of his heart’s desire; He blesses the greedy and renounces the LORD. (Psalm 10:3)

 
A person who does not know God lives to satisfy their own heart and does not realize that this desire is corrupt and perverse, causing damage to their soul. They become so blind that they even applaud the avaricious and covetous people who crave everything in this vile world.

They renounce goodness, love, and God’s sacrifice for them. They ignore the life He offers—of salvation and redemption from sins—and do not realize that true pleasure lies in living a life of honor and purity.

Oh, how happy and fulfilled they would be if they made Him the Lord of their life!
