Schedule | - 4:01 pm
From April 5th to May 24th
During the meeting, the bishop emphasized that this purpose is not just symbolic, but a practical act of faith. He provided clear guidance: Every morning, before leaving home, participants should anoint their heads with the holy oil, presenting in prayer their requests for the Heavenly Father’s promise—the Holy Spirit.

In explaining the biblical foundation, the bishop referred to the disciples’ experience after Jesus’ resurrection.
At that time, approximately 500 people received instructions to await the promise of the Holy Spirit. However, only 120 remained steadfast to the end, and it was these who ultimately received the Holy Spirit.
From this, he issued a caution: Not everyone who begins this journey perseveres, but those who do will experience the promise.
Thus, this 50-day purpose holds significance beyond a mere calendar count; it represents a journey of perseverance, faith, and decision.
Bishop Macedo also highlighted the difference between having God by your side and having Him within you.
While Jesus walked alongside the disciples during His time on Earth, after His ascension, He sent the Comforter to dwell within believers.
The Holy Spirit dwelling within us dispels fear, strengthens faith, and provides guidance in all aspects of life—at home, at work, and beyond.
Importantly, this initiative is open to all believers, regardless of their church affiliation.
“All in one faith, one spirit, and one heart,” he emphasized, reinforcing the need for spiritual unity during this period.
During the meeting, a testimony was shared from someone who had participated in the “Family at the Foot of the Cross” event.
This person had sought the Holy Spirit for years, eventually realizing that it was not about emotion, but about total surrender.

In conclusion, this purpose serves as an open invitation: Those who believe must practice their faith; those who desire must persevere.
Throughout these 50 days, the goal is simple—to seek the Holy Spirit daily with faith and discipline.
Thus, this initiative is not just about remembering Pentecost; it is about living it out in a real way, allowing each person to experience the transformation that comes from above.
