This Sunday at 10 AM
Pentecost in the Bible is known as the day of firstfruits, when the people presented before God what represented a priority in their lives.
This faith needs to be put into action today, as God in His plenitude does not accept second or third place in one’s life, but only and entirely first place above everyone and everything.
Seeking and receiving the Holy Spirit, God’s essence within us, to teach, guide, strengthen, and use us for His will, must be a priority in the lives of those who surrender to the Lord Jesus.
During the Fast of Daniel, the importance of nurturing one’s spiritual life by purifying the heart of negative feelings and thoughts is emphasized.
It is likened to welcoming an important visitor into one’s home; just as one organizes everything for someone special, those desiring to receive the Holy Spirit must prepare their inner selves.
This means letting go of grudges, bad thoughts, sins, resentments, and negative emotions to become temples of the Holy Spirit.
Additionally, a sincere and intense seeking of the Holy Spirit is essential during this preparation. People go through intense efforts to pursue dreams and personal goals, but how much personal effort and commitment has one dedicated to their relationship with God?
Receiving the Holy Spirit requires total surrender, dedication, and a genuine desire.
On Pentecost Sunday, May 24th, a special prayer service will be broadcast live from the Upper Room in Jerusalem. The meeting will occur simultaneously in all locations of The Universal Church.
The certainty is that, in that moment, the Holy Spirit will descend and fill those who surrender completely to the Lord Jesus, along with a renewal of faith for all believers worldwide.
Join us this Sunday at 10 AM at The Universal Church. Everyone is welcome, regardless of religious beliefs or background. Come as you are.
