Every human being has received a spirit from God—wisdom, knowledge, and talent. When we die, the spirit returns to God, while the body returns to dust. But what about our soul? It’s up to each individual to decide the fate of their soul.
God has given you wisdom to take care of your soul. And when your soul is well-cared for and nourished by God’s Word, your body will thank you. You’ve probably heard the saying, a sound mind in a sound body. Well, when our spirit guides our soul according to God’s instructions, which is His Word, our body becomes healthy, too.
But what’s been happening in the world? People complain, lament, and even insult God, saying, “My life is hell. My life is this or that.” They don’t reason according to the Holy Scriptures, which is the source that nourishes our spirit and, consequently, our soul.
God is the Creator, our Father, who has given us wisdom according to His Holy Word so that we can flee from evil, sin, and a disorderly life and find peace. When our spirit passes on the information for our soul to follow what is guided by God’s Word, our soul is at peace, and so our body will also be well.
God says in Ezekiel 18:4, “Behold, all souls are Mine…” He says this because He is the one who will judge them according to their deeds. Those who understand God’s Word will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but those who have despised what the Lord Jesus did on the cross will have their souls condemned for the actions they took in life.
So, take good care of your soul, nourish it with God’s Word, and seek His Presence and the promises He has for you because His promises are unfailing, as long as you seek His Word first and are faithful to Him.
The church is open daily, and a special meeting takes place every Wednesday to care for our souls, strengthen our spiritual lives, and seek the Holy Spirit. All are welcome. Come as you are.
