North Carolina Unisocial Event Brings Hope and Support to Local Families

North Carolina Unisocial Event

On Sunday, July 23rd, 2023, in South Charlotte, North Carolina, 11 volunteers came together for a heartwarming Unisocial event. This event touched the lives of many families in the neighborhood. The event, organized by the volunteers of the Unisocial group, centered around distributing bags of groceries. Yet, not only physical help was offered, but most importantly, prayer was offered to those in need.

The Unisocial event occurred at High Meadows Apartments in South Charlotte, North Carolina. The Unisocial Group distributed bags of groceries that were thoughtfully curated to meet the recipients’ nutritional needs. The contents included staple food items and essential household supplies, all generously donated by members of The Universal Church.

According to an article from Feeding America, “In North Carolina, 1,248,880 people are facing hunger – and of them 353,450 are children.”

Volunteers extended heartfelt prayers for the well-being and prosperity of the families in attendance, creating a supportive and uplifting atmosphere for all.

“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” (Proverbs 11:25)

Over 40 families and individuals received help. Many expressed their gratitude for the community’s support. They emphasized the event’s positive impact on their lives and the overall sense of belonging within the neighborhood.

One resident named Angela said, “Everybody is still talking about the support from the Church and is very grateful.”

The success of this event highlights the importance of community engagement and collaboration in addressing local challenges. It serves as a reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a significant difference in the lives of others.
