On Monday, September 2nd, at 2 AM ET, Bishop Edir Macedo led another special ‘Night Vigil in Pajamas’ international broadcast with the aim of people seeking and receiving the Holy Spirit.
In the initial message, the Bishop made a point of warning about the tactics used by evil to discourage the sincere.
“God works with the Word of faith, security, and certainty. The devil works with the word of doubt, of fear. Many people are caught between two words: that of God or that of the devil. Understand: the Lord Jesus did not come for those who deserve it; He came for those who do not deserve it. Because if a person thinks they are worthy, they are no longer worthy. God loves those who are fallen, prostrated, excluded from society, those who no one wants.”
And when the scribes and Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, “How is it that He eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?” When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” Mark 2:16-17
After all the guidance, Bishop Macedo also reinforced that the Holy Spirit desires to dwell within each one of us so that we can become living eyewitnesses of His presence, exuding the good perfume of Christ to everyone around us.
