On November 30th, 2024, at 6:30 PM, fourteen dedicated volunteers from Night Angels organized an event to provide food, clothing, and prayers to those in need.
San Antonio is renowned for its iconic landmarks, including The Alamo, the River Walk, and the San Antonio Zoo. According to NCHstats, as of 2024, the number of people experiencing homelessness in the city has increased by 6.8%, reaching a total of 3,372 individuals.
On November 30th, 2024, at 6:30 PM, fourteen dedicated volunteers from Night Angels organized an event to provide food, clothing, and prayers to those in need. Approximately 50 individuals received assistance during the event.
“For I was hungry, and you gave me food; I was thirsty, and you gave me drink; I was a stranger, and you invited me in; I needed clothes, and you clothed me; I was sick, and you looked after me; I was in prison, and you came to visit me.” (Matthew 25:35-37)
Pastor Arturo Rosas from The Universal Church in San Antonio, TX, shared their thoughts on the event, “This event made a meaningful impact on our community. Many attendees expressed their gratitude, sharing personal experiences and appreciation for the support they received.”
A volunteer described their experience, “I am deeply thankful for everyone who came out tonight and contributed their time and effort to prepare food and clothing for those in need.”
One guest shared their heartfelt thanks, “It has been a long time since I sat at a table to share a meal with others. Thank you very much for this opportunity.”
