Read and Meditate on Today’s Message
But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” (Matthew 9:13)
God is merciful to everyone. He knows who calls upon Him sincerely and who makes sacrifices without a genuine heart. It is not the rules of religion that will save someone, but rather repentance for sins and surrender, emptying oneself of attachment to things and people.
