If You Do Well

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it. (Genesis 4:7)

God Himself warns the sinner about the importance of doing good to be accepted by Him; for, without the cleansing of the soul, the human being remains subject to sin and distant from God.

It is necessary to examine one’s own wants carefully, so that the heart is not dominated by illicit desires—leading it to turn away from the path of salvation and to deny the offering of the cross: the death of His Son for the redemption of those who believe in Him.
